“Ghanaians Are No Longer Dying From Disease But From Hunger,” Alhaji Sinare to Bawumia’s Economic Mismanagement

Alhaji Said Sinare, former National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged the Zongo communities in the Central Region to withhold their votes from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.

He stated that supporting the NPP would endorse corruption, mismanagement, and hardship for all Ghanaians.

Speaking to a large crowd of Zongo residents in the Central Region during his “Winning the Zongo Votes for President John Dramani Mahama Tour,” Alhaji Sinare questioned whether life had improved under the Economic Management Team led by Dr. Bawumia, citing unfulfilled promises from both the 2016 and 2020 elections. He claimed that the NPP had caused increased hardship across the country and urged voters to support former President John Dramani Mahama to create a prosperous future for all, rather than a select few.

The National Chairman of the Zongo Caucus Working Committee pledged that an NDC government would lower hajj fares, establish Islamic universities, support Zongo businesses, and provide jobs and scholarships for Muslim youth. He highlighted former President Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy as particularly beneficial to Zongo communities.

Alhaji Sinare also criticized Dr. Bawumia for overseeing rising fuel costs and not addressing the challenges faced by ordinary Ghanaians. He accused the NPP of making empty promises and neglecting the welfare of citizens, leading to increased poverty, insecurity, and hardship under the current government.

He encouraged the Zongo communities to vote for President Mahama, choosing a future of prosperity, respect, and hope over further hardship.
