Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, the MP for Jirapa Constituency, has finally delivered on his promise to bring electricity to Ping.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, Dec 24, 2025, and it was a joyful moment for the people of Ping!

The event brought together big shots like party chairman David Yeng, vice chairman Jacob Zukuu, the women organizer Hon. Aku Kpedi, the Communication Officer Hon. Vitalis N-ekabong, Zongo Caucus Coordinator Hon. Mohammed Omar and other party stakeholders.

The MCE, Hon. Peter N. N To-ang, commissioned the electrification project, praising Hon. Dapilah for his hard work in making this happen.

“The MP knows the power of power” Hon. To-ang said, highlighting how electricity boosts businesses, academics, healthcare, and more!

It’s part of President John Dramani Mahama’s “reset agenda” to develop Ghana.

The people of Ping who couldn’t hide their excitement thanked Hon. Dapilah and Hon. To-ang for bringing light to their community

According to Hon. To-ang, the streetlights from Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah are to keep the area safe and bright

He concluded by saying the MP has noted the number of communities without electricity and added that plans were far advanced to erased darkness from all parts of the Constituency.
