Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah Supports St. Joseph Catholic Church Dagaare Choir
In a heartwarming gesture, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, Member of Parliament for Jirapa Constituency, has donated GHC 2,500 to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Dagaare Choir to aid in the purchase of Dagaare hymns.
The donation ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the church premises in Jirapa.
Representing the MP were Hon. Tamimu Issah, Constituency Secretary, and Hon. Aku Kpedi, Constituency Women Organizer.
In a brief address, Hon. Issah revealed that the donation was a fulfillment of a pledge made by the MP to support the choir’s worship endeavors.
He emphasized the significance of worship as spiritual nourishment for the soul.
The donation resonates with the biblical passage, “Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the LORD; exult before him!” (Psalm 68:4-6). This gesture underscores the MP’s commitment to supporting faith-based initiatives.
Mr. Rufus Bakinwie, Chairman of the St. Joseph Catholic Church Dagaare Choir, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the MP for his benevolence. He assured that the funds would be utilized judiciously to benefit the choir.
This donation is consistent with Hon. Dapilah’s track record of supporting both Christian and Islamic communities in his constituency.
