There live a poor boy palmer and his poor parents Mr.Raddy and Mrs. Eunice. Palmer parents were peasant farmers in a small village called Luton in England .
His parents dream was to see their only child furthering his education to the highest level but his parents dream was just a mere desire.
Palmer was loved by almost all the inhabitants of Luton because of his respect for people and also a God fearing person.
He keep on assisting his parents in the farm and performing other house chores since he was the only child of the family.
Palmer likes playing football with friends at his leisure time and have already started training with the community team since his parents cannot afford money for his education.
One early morning after breakfast,Mr. Raddy told his son his plans and passion to send him to school but he does not have the resources and capital to make it possible.
Palmer said, dad,it has always been my dream to be in school but is just a dream. Mr. Raddy told his son, don’t worry all shall be well with us,all you need is to keep on praying, working hard and being focus and his dreams shall come to pass.
Palmer father’s words of courage motivated him, in tears, he said dad ,I will do all that I can to let this family be in a better condition .
An NGO know as Dynamic Invention Centre came to Luton scouting for brilliant but the need students to sponsor their education. The selected students were to undergo a three weeks training and then write a test to serve as qualification into the NGO’S program.
Luckily enough, Palmer name was part of those 150 selected people but only thirty will be selected.
The news brought joy and happiness to palmer’s family. Palmer started preparing for the test by working day and night just to come out with flying colours.
The date scheduled for the exams has finally come. Palmer said good bye to his parents and left to the exam centre. He was dumbfounded and amused when he got to the exam centre, almost every one was seated, waiting for the organizers, he quickly joined them.
Few minutes time, the organizers of the program walked in and tell all students to get settle. The exam begun and ended successfully.
The organizers told them that in one week time the results of the exam will be out and only the first thirty students will be selected to the city.
Palmer got home and he was warmly welcomed by his parents. His dad was really happy and hope his son will make it among the best.
Three months time, the result was finally out, Palmer rushed to the centre to check his results, unfortunately he couldn’t make up the list of those who passed the exam.
