Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, Member of Parliament for Jirapa Constituency, has once again demonstrated his commitment to improving the health sector in Jirapa by donating three electrocardiogram (ECG) machines to St. Joseph Hospital and Hain Polyclinic.
This gesture underscores his dedication to enhancing healthcare delivery in the constituency.
The donation took place at the St. Joseph hospital on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 with high profile people from both the health professionals and the political class.
The Municipal health director madam Florence Angsomwine, Dr. Darius Faadogr, Dr. Gbogere Silas, nurses and other workers of the hospital were present, representing the health sector.
Accompanying the MP was the Constituency Chairman David Yeng, the Secretary who doubles as the MCE nominee Hon. Peter N.N To-ang, the Zongo caucus coordinator Hon. Mohammed Omari, the deputy Constituency Youth Organizer Hon. Bernard Suglo, Assembly Members and many other party faithfuls.
The lawmaker in his speech highlighted quite a number of issues regarding the health sector.
He expressed gratitude to the Catholic community for establishing St. Joseph Hospital, which serves as the primary healthcare facility for the people of Jirapa.
He commended hospital workers for their dedication, emphasizing the critical nature of their roles.
Hon. Dapilah explained that the donation of ECG machines aims to enhance the hospital’s capacity to diagnose and manage heart-related conditions.
He assured that the John Dramani Mahama-led government would prioritize the welfare of health workers and improve the Ministry of Health for effective healthcare delivery.
Hon. Dapilah requested that one of the ECG machines be allocated to the Hain Polyclinic, promoting equitable access to healthcare services.
Electrocardiogram machine donated
This donation is part of Hon. Dapilah’s broader efforts to strengthen the healthcare system in Jirapa. His contributions include Suction machines, operation lamps, beds, and wheelchairs, construction of maternity rooms, the Baazu health center, and renovation of health centers.
The Municipal Health Director, Madam Florence Angsomwine, appreciated Hon. Dapilah’s swift response to their needs.
Dr. Gbogere Silas and Dr. Darius Faadogr also thanked him for the donation.
