Hon. Abigail Elorm Mensah Donates For The Construction Of Bridge At Fanteakwa South District
Hon. Abigail Elorm Mensah, the Deputy National Women Organizer, and Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, the Eastern Regional Minister, have made a significant contribution to the Fanteakwa South District.
As a member of the Fanteakwa South Constitution, Madam Abigail Elorm Mensah uses some of these situations as means of giving back to her own roots.
They donated 100 bags of cement and an undisclosed amount of Ghana Cedis to support the construction of a bridge linking Nkakama community to other nearby communities namely Subrima, Nsuta, Abodobi, Obruahoho, Yayaasu and Dahomey.
This gesture aims to address the challenges faced by school children and farmers in the area, who struggle to access basic amenities due to the lack of a connecting road.
The communities had already initiated efforts to resolve the issue, and the donation is a welcome boost to their endeavors.
Hon. Abigail Elorm Mensah expressed her satisfaction with the donation, emphasizing its impact on women and children.
She praised the community’s proactive approach, saying, “I felt it was a duty to help solve this problem so that children can attend school freely”.
This act from the Deputy National Women Organizer of the National Democratic Congress is part of her many philanthropic works she engages in across the country.
As a passionate woman who wishes to see the welfare of others, Madam Abigail Elorm Mensah uses her position as a politician and gender activist to make life better for women, children and humanity as a whole.
